Learn. Play. Explore.
Adventure Grove is the perfect transitional or topical addition to your early years curriculum — and beyond. Our sessions are designed not just for fun, but to support children’s communication, language, social skills, and confidence through immersive role-play experiences.
Using the Early Years framework and a deep understanding of child development gained from real in-school experience, our sessions are carefully structured to achieve meaningful outcomes.
We explore:
Occupation focus & interest-led discussions
Role-play and extended language opportunities
Key conversation points with adult-led insights
Personal and social development through play
Vital communication skills
Free-flow learning in a relaxed, playful environment
Our sessions are delivered by experienced Adventure Grove facilitators, who bring imagination, expertise, and tailored support to every group. We work across the term with key module and framework objectives at the heart of every session.
While we primarily work with EYFS children in larger groups, we also offer tailored sessions for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring all children benefit from engaging, meaningful learning experiences.
Big Ideas, Real Impact
At Adventure Grove, we arrive at your school fully equipped — all we need is a space. Our sessions can be set up in halls, classrooms, and on warmer days, even outdoors! We offer one-off themed sessions for special days such as occupations, Christmas, or fun days, all planned and delivered to provide everything you need.
Our most popular package is our weekly school programme, which combines immersive Grove sessions with our prop box sessions, giving children the chance to explore and learn through play. Schools love how hassle-free and well-organised our sessions are, and we have a strong reputation for delivering experiences that are both fun and highly effective.
School Session Reviews
Laura Chandler, EYFS Lead & Assistant Head
Adventure Grove has been working with our school over the last term, and the difference and impact on our children’s interaction skills has been incredible. The sessions create real-life opportunities for children to explore and live out their own personal experiences. Even the most reluctant communicators are engaged, excited, and interacting during Adventure Grove sessions.
The sessions encourage open-ended discussions and allow children to see the world through a child’s perspective. The facilitators are kind, professional, and ensure all children feel at ease and confident. Adventure Grove provides high-quality resources and supports staff with assessments and planning next steps for children’s individual learning journeys.
We would highly recommend Adventure Grove to any setting looking to enhance learning across all areas of the curriculum.
Bryony Maddocks, Reception teacher
We loved having Adventure Grove visit our school. My class loved the set up and through excellent facilitation the children’s learning moved on and progressed. The children keep asking when Adventure Grove is coming back. Thank you Shannon.
Craig Fortey, EYFS Lead
Adventure Grove visited us today, and our children thoroughly enjoyed the experience! They were given real-life opportunities in a safe, fun, and inspiring environment. The sessions encouraged a wealth of vocabulary through child-initiated play and role-play, with facilitators supporting and nurturing the children’s imaginations throughout."
